Crucible has been cancelled, forever. The game's servers will be closed later this year. The developers, Relentless, a studio under Amazon, announced their decision today. Some of the current employees will be shifted over to Amazon's upcoming MMO, New World, while others will be working on other, unannounced projects. It's a sad day for 3rd person ability-based action games. :(
