The Evil Within 2 CLASSIC Mode playthrough -Part 1: Intro, Crossbow, Shotgun and first half of town!
0DISCLAIMER: Since this difficulty is such a challenge, I will be trying to use speedrunning tricks and glitches to actually make it through. All tricks and glitches I've learned from the videos of a great Evil Within 1 and 2 speedrunner called Jigzaw_Killer ( / @jigzawkiller ) and I want to offer them a huge special thanks! This is UFONmans full playthrough of The Evil Within 2 on CLASSIC Mode difficulty. I recently finished the game on NIGHTMARE difficulty, so I guess I asked for this... Again! CLASSIC Mode is basically the base games hardest difficulty (or a special challenge, if you prefer that). You CANNOT upgrade skills or weapons, and there are no autosaves while you're only limited to 7 saves for the whole playthrough. Enemies are same as they're on NIGHTMARE difficulty, meaning they do the same damage and are just as aggressive, but they have (at least bosses, I think...) a little bit less health to compensate for not being able to upgrade weapons. It is time consuming and you can't really just bumrush the game, forcing you to think about what to do and using stealth. Using a gamepad, playing the 60FPS Steam version. Skipping all the possible cutscenes and lore... if you want to see those, check out my NIGHTMARE difficulty full story playthrough. Completionist playthrough just isn't a good choice for CLASSIC Mode difficulty. Like all of my playthroughs, there's going to be lots of swearing and cursing, so don't watch if you have a problem with that. Also, since this is a VERY CHALLENGING difficulty, there will be rage and frustration... but we'll see if I break anything (like my face to a wall).
