Hey everyone how’s it going, welcome to GamerU tips, tricks and tutorial videos. In this video I’ll go over all the primary weapons that you shall acquire in your first play through in The Evil Within. Sebastian has a pretty deadly arsenal available to him which features a Revolver, Shotgun, Magnum, Rifle, Crossbow and grenades. You do unlock more weapons after completing the game, but these weapons will be your main focus. The Revolver is a solid handgun as you can quickly pull off headshots in close to mid-range situations and also take down enemies easily with a shot to the leg. Next is the shotgun, which in my opinion is the best weapon in the game. The shotgun has the power to pushback enemies and make them fall, what’s even better is the spread of the weapon as you can easily hit multiple enemies that are about to surround you, excellent for close-range encounters. Next is the Magnum, like the handgun, you can pull off quick and accurate shots at close to mid-range. However the damage output is a lot higher, making this weapon really deadly, but ammo is hard to come by for it. I would recommend using it against bosses. Next is the Rifle, which is a handy long range weapon that excels in taking out far to reach enemies and does a good amount of damage. I would recommend using the rifle on bosses when you have enough space and enemies that take cover in certain parts of the game. The crossbow is a very useful utility as you can fire different bolts at the enemy for a lot of damage and different effects. Always make bolts from traps as it’s essential to have them on hand. Lastly are the candlestick grenades, as they can easily clear groups of enemies with a giant blast radius. Definitely have some saved, you’ll want them when you are about to be surrounded.
