The Expendables crash land in a frozen tundra of mountains and ice. Snake is separated from the group and is held hostage by a group of thieves who have also crash-landed on a nearby cliff. The team discovers that the thieves are darkened curators in search of crates of arcane currency in the form of paper notes that are said to be found in these mountains.
