This is 1 of 4 songs from an abandoned project we called "Memoirs"
Based an old journal writings from ordinary people in the 19th century (some songs in the project were based on authentic journal entries).
"The Fading Winter" is about the hopes and wishes of the coming spring. Spring is full of change and growth, which comes with it, anticipation and excitement of what's to come. Spring is also associated with love and romance. This song subtly deals with all of these issues but doesn't seem to have a clear subject or topic.
