It's now been ten years since we last saw an entry in the Kid Icarus series which means I can finally make a forgotten franchise on it. In this video I do a retrospective of the series covering Kid Icarus for the NES, Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters for the Game Boy, and Kid Icarus Uprising for the 3DS. There's also some smaller stuff like cameos and ports thrown in and who knows maybe by the time you're watching this there's been a port of Kid Icarus Uprising for the Nintendo Switch making this video poorly aged. Although that probably won't happen and hopefully by the time you've finished watching you'll see why Kid Icarus is a forgotten franchise and how Sakurai's entry will probably be the last.
