The fightstick of the FUTURE? No buttons, no joystick, no problem!
Fightstick modder and maker, JAMSTA, put together this stainless-steel prototype filled with Omron EE-SPY sensors. Both movement and actions are all triggered through sensor activation, and this concept opens up tons of possibilities in the fightstick and gaming peripheral scene! Enter the Locus Solus 4, the first all-sensor controller! Huge thanks to JAMSTA for letting me get a first look at what could be the future of fightsticks. Now that we have proof of concept, think of optical swipes, wrist flicks, super small sensor sticks…the sky is the limit! What do you all think? Are you as excited as I am about all the new possibilities?
Dimensions of the Locus Solus 4:
