The 5 stages of fighting game players
In this video, I weigh in on my perception regarding the stages of gameplan development in fighting games (specifically, Street Fighter). Over the time spent on a specific fighting game title, players will adapt, grow, and evolve their gameplan multiple times as they progress their skills. Their journey is broken into five distinct levels utilizing five distinct gameplan styles: primitive, universal, character-specific, player-specific, and transcendent. Let me know what you think of this take in the comments, and also if this style of content appeals to you. Thanks for watching!
