The Final Fantasy Legend played on Super Game Boy 2, North American SNES console (modded for component video output), and OEM controller (no turbo). Timing is from character creation to the start of Creator's death animation.

"Sawless" means that the Saw skill (a likely bugged skill that instantly kills monsters/bosses stronger than the user) is not used.

Very nice improvement thanks to overall cleaner execution and some decent encounter luck (Evil Eye meat drop was terrible though). Still probably ~8 minutes off a time that would be comparable to the Japanese record - doubt I'll push this run that hard, but a 1:04-1:05 seems pretty attainable.
