Welcome to my blind playthrough of Pokémon Scarlet!
I will be doing a DnD (Dungeons and Dragons) version of a Nuzlocke for my first time playing through this game. I have decided to call it a "Pokémon P&P Nuzlocke"! As far as I am aware this hasn't been done before! As the name suggests, I will be rolling for various things throughout this game. Since nobody has done this before, there are bound to be a few hiccups here and there with balancing issues. Fear not though, we will make sure to work through them and adjust accordingly. I am only one brain, so if you all think of some really interesting rules to add to the experience, I would love to hear them. See the rules down below that I am using. My goal is to make this a fun, unique, suspenseful, and interactive experience for all of you. Thanks so much for checking this series out!

Pokémon P&P Rules:

***DISCLAIMER: THESE RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS THEY ARE TESTED MORE***

🔴Roll for initiative: Roll to see what party member I start with for trainer battles [D6]
*In double battles I must roll two [D6]'s until I get 2 different numbers*

🔴Day Cycle for Pokémon: I can only use the same Pokémon for 2 hours before they need a rest for 2 hours. (Pokémon added to the party with an hour or less time left may stay for an additional 2-hour session before being reset)
*If I have 6 or less Pokémon in the party, this rule doesn't apply. If I have between 7 and 11 Pokémon, the Pokémon who have been in my party longest get cycled out*

🔴General Item Stock: Roll for the amount heal / general items I can buy (Per item) [D12]. The amount I can buy increases per gym badge an additional [D4].
*Shops restock after 10 hours. Countdown begins at the start of the next 2-hour day cycle*

🔴Pokéball Stock: Roll for how many pokéballs I can buy (Per Pokéball Type) [D20]. The amount I can buy increases per gym badge an additional [D10] (Pokéballs), [D6] (Great), [D4] (Ultra).
*Shops restock after 10 hours. Countdown begins at the start of the next 2-hour day cycle*
*Other Balls: Dusk [D4], Timer [D4], Quick [D4], Dive [D6], Nest [D6], Net [D6], Heal [D8], Luxury [D8], Repeat [D8]*

🔴Roll to Join the Party: Roll [Any Die] for Pokémon to be added to the party or the PC (Even or Odd: Even = Party; Odd = PC)
*Only applicable when I have 6 Pokémon already*

🔴PC Pokémon Roulette: Roll a [D6] for the column & [D4] for row. (Dice will vary based on amount of Pokémon in the PC). This is the only way to get Pokémon out of the PC and into the party.
*The last row of the pc must be blank for the roulette so there are only 4 rows*

Nuzlocke Rules:

🟠When a Pokémon dies, they die
🟠If I white out or black out, I start over
🟠Battle style must be "Set"
🟠Species Clause
🟠Shiny Clause

Custom/Special Nuzlocke Rules:

🟡When I get to a new area, I must catch 10 Pokémon in that area. I must catch at least one of each type of Pokémon I encounter there and catch duplicates as necessary to get to 10. I will duplicate the Pokémon that are more common before duplicating the less common for more realistic odds for that area. Then I will roll a [D10] for which of those Pokémon I get to keep out of the group, and only that Pokémon. However, if the first roll isn't a new generation Pokémon, and there is a at least one in the group, I will still keep that Pokémon I got on the first roll, and also roll until I get the new generation Pokémon (I will only roll again if there is more than one new generation Pokémon in the batch. If there is only one in the batch, I can just take that one as well as the Pokémon I originally rolled for). If I roll the [D10] and the first Pokémon I get is a new generation Pokémon, then that is all I get.
*This rule is in place to allow me to be able to experience as many new Pokémon in this play-through as possible. Otherwise, normal P&P play-throughs will just have me take only the first roll regardless*
