The First Berserker Khazan Part 5 ─ Greatsword-Only ─ LastProtagonist Let's Play
0The First Berserker Khazan is set in the Dungeon Fighter Online (DFO) universe, though it isn't directly connected as far as I'm aware. This is what initially caught my eye when I first heard about Khazan because if DFO was capable of having good enough combat features to be the world's most popular MMO for a time, then I thought it was possible that they'd be able to make a really good 3D action game as well. Truth be told, although the beginning starts off a little slow, they did not disappoint.
Although I haven't played it enough to know for sure, Khazan is essentially a Nioh 2-like rather than your traditional Soulslike, and its more action-oriented combat definitely makes it worthy of having a seat in the conversation for some of the best Soulslikes around.
I've already played through the entirety of the game once using the Dual Wielded blades and had a blast, so for this playthrough, I thought I'd keep things fresh by switching things up and using the Greatsword. I tested it a little bit in the demo a few months back, but haven't touched it since.
