Craig Breen, driving the Citroën C3 WRC, during the 2018 Rally Sweden, which counts towards the WRC World Rally Championship. In 2017, the WRC regulations changed forever, with regulations that allowed for much more aerodynamic bodywork, more downforce, and completely new cars. Citroën switched from the DS3 WRC to the C3 WRC with Craig Breen, Kris Meeke, and Stéphane Lefebvre. A car that achieved many podium finishes, but one of the most important was the Sweden Rally, the World Rally Championship round in Sweden, where Craig Breen achieved second place. #EASPORTSWRC #RallySweden #LeMaestros #RallySweden #craigbreen #citroen #modomomentos #momentos #Sweden #rally #wrc #worlrecord #rallyesuecia #umeå #sweden #rallyes #tribute #worldrallychampionship

"The Masters" is a tribute to the greatest successes of French rallying from the late 1990s to the end of the 2000s. Two of the greatest rally drivers of all time were French, and they won the World Rally Championship 15 times in a row!

"The Masters" pays tribute to the cars and drivers of this era with more rally stages, Moments, liveries, historic vehicles, and a new car class. Let's take a detailed look at all the new features.

New Stages**
"The Masters" features 12 new stages across two of the fans' favorite locations: Rallye Monte-Carlo and Rally de Portugal. In each one, you'll find new stages, and the complete routes will be exact replicas of legendary stages from WRC history.

At Rallye Monte-Carlo, you'll face steep descents, narrow bridges, and winding tracks that will test your precision. Add to that its traditional icy winter roads, and it's a challenge worthy of the greatest champions.

The Briançonnet-Entrevaux stage is the highlight of "The Masters." The two greatest drivers in WRC history, both of French origin, faced off on these same roads in 2022 in a battle for victory. It all came down to the final leg!

Rallye de Portugal boasts legendary roads full of challenges and incredible scenery, but none like the Fafe stage. This stage is known for its famous and extremely challenging jump. Fafe has been a favorite with both fans and drivers for decades.

New Cars
"The Masters" adds six more cars to the game, along with the debut of a new car class.

"World Rally Car: 2012-2016" will feature two new "Masters" cars: the Citroën DS3 WRC '12 and the 2013 Volkswagen Polo R WRC.**

These two cars represent the handover from one master to the next, as the nine-time world champion last won in the Citroën DS3 and the next French superstar inaugurated his dominance with the Volkswagen Polo the following year.

Longtime virtual rally fans will recognize the 2013 Volkswagen Polo R WRC, as it was the "cover car" for the original DiRT Rally. The development team at Codemasters is thrilled to bring this car back for fans of the series!

Another car that EA SPORTS™ WRC 24 players have been asking for is the Citroën C3 WRC. This car competed in the era of maximum aerodynamics and joins its base-game counterparts from both Ford and Volkswagen in the "World Rally Car: 2017-2021" class.

In the years leading up to its dominance of the WRC's top category, Citroën was already known as a giant in the secondary categories. For example, the Citroën Xsara Kit Car was particularly powerful on asphalt. This car scored two victories in 1999 while top-class drivers couldn't keep up with its outstanding front-wheel drive.

Monte Carlo Rally: Briançonnet-Entrevaux (14.3 km)
Portugal Rally: Fafe (11.3 km)
