One of the weirdest things in the FNAF 1 prototype Freddy's location underneath Murray's Costume Manor in Secret of the Mimic is the fact that the map for the FNAF 3 location is present in the building. Considering FNAF 3 was set decades after SOTM at a location that wasn't run by Fazbear Entertainment, there needs to be some sort of explanation for how Edwin Murray, and presumably William Afton and Henry Emily, would have come up with or gotten possession of this map at such an early point in the FNAF timeline.
However, I think I actually know why it's there, and the answer helps solve two major debates in the fandom: the timeline placement of the Survival Logbook and when Sister Location happens.
