Somewhat preemptively popularized by the fan song Jackie's Box, Five Nights at Freddys: Secret of the Mimic will be coming out in June, and Steel Wool has released a trailer for it that has reignited the longstanding debate: are the Tales from the Pizzaplex books canon to the games. While technically "in the game continuity" would be the better term given how FNAF creator, Scott Cawthon, uses the terms, the sentiment is understood, and fortunately, I think Secret of the Mimic actually solves the debate in a way that no one expected.
