The Forest | The Laboratory, Final Boss, And Both Endings
1I have had this game in my steam library since it was in early access, and I was always so preoccupied with building and exploring that I never sought to finish the game; that is, until I got it on PS4.
To get to Sahara Theraputics' Laboratory, you need to have the Climbing Axe, Scuba Gear, and the Keycard you find with the Camcorder.
The Climbing Axe is located in the Ledge Cave (Cave 9), near the end of the cave, stuck in a wall, illuminated by a generator. The Scuba Gear can be found in the Submerged Cave (Cave 5), right before a water hole inside the cave, attached to a skeleton, surrounded by some air canisters. Lastly, The Keycard can be picked up from a dead body on the ground in a mass grave protected by an Armsy and some babies in the Lawyer's Cave (Cave 6), in the same room as the camcorder; the easiest entrance to the cave is in the cliffside passage by the shipping containers. Follow it along until you find a boarded up area to reach the room with the keycard. When you have all of that, get to the bottom of the Sinkhole, and scuba down through a small body of water.
