This is the first of many stories from the Grimms. These stories will sound familiar to some that you know by different names and extended natures. This story is "The Princess and the Frog." These stories were written by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm.

A princess goes to her favorite place to play with her favorite golden ball, a well just outside of the castle, but she loses her ball as it floats away in the well. A frog offers her a hand in returning her ball, but for a price. The princess agrees but forsakes the frog who would later arrive on her doorstep. After a fit of rage, the princess finds out the truth about the frog and how he is actually a prince. Her new husband.
