When F-Zero launched in 1991 alongside the SNES, it brought with it the promise of a next generation experience. But the truth remains that multiple console generations have come and gone without the promise of a new grand prix. However, in 2017, things are starting to change and if there was ever the time to argue for the return of the F-Zero franchise- that time would be now.

Special thanks to Jonah for emailing me about F-Zero and offering up some resources he found on the subject.
