The Galaxy S8’s screen is randomly turning on for some people.




As great as we thought the Galaxy S8 was, and still is, Samsung‘s flagship smartphone is not immune from problems. One such issue, according to folks on the official Samsung community and Reddit, is that the phone is inadvertently waking up.

Based on information provided by affected users, the issue pops up when they turn off the screen, either by pressing the power button or letting the phone go to sleep on its own. The screen will then turn on for around 10 seconds, then turn right off.
