Note: Once you have opened The Forgotten Woods, the game informs you that the DLC has opened up. I would advise against doing it yet. The DLC is significantly higher level than what you are fighting at this point in the game. For reference, the first DLC has enemies at around level 70 on normal. You can actually do the first DLC dungeon right now to see for yourself. The dungeon is in the south west of the Forgotten Woods, and you can do it without starting the DLC.
