We're talking about reviewing three board games from Allplay: the dexterity insect battling Kabuto Sumo, and two brand-new 2025 releases in the form of Oddland and Ruins. One is satisfyingly strategic, one is creatively chaotic, and one left me scratching my head.

Oddland: quirky area control puzzle with mysterious creatures and overlapping/disappearing terrain.
Ruins blends card-shedding mechanics with transparent upgrades and numerical combos.
Kabuto Sumo is physical strategy with wrestling beetles duking it out in arcade-style showdowns.
