16Refactoring (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_refactoring) is a software engineering term referring to the process of rearranging / cleaning up / redesigning something in order to make it easier to work with, but without really changing what it does. That's basically what we did to the rail infrastructure here!
We connected the eastern and western rail networks by building a cross-lake Great Transverse Railroad and rearranged the eastern networks and some of our dropoff stations to add lane balancing where needed.
