The Great Split - playthrough (4p)
3The Great Split was a complete surprise for us at BGG Con. Dave Doooogah spied it on the Essen lists and wanted to try it, and it was a hit. Hjalmar Hach and Lorenzo Silva have unlocked the secret sauce of the perfect "I split, you choose" game -- add a mechanic for scoring mid-and-end game scoring points that rely on tough decisions as to which of the nine tracks on the board to advance and which cards to split to get that accomplished!
** Note, we accidentally missed a rule here. We've played The Great Split dozens of times, but it had been a while in between plays when we streamed it and we missed one of the small rules. Some of us forgot that when you choose not to use a card, and flip it instead, it increases your gold track -- it does NOT give you a wild. Apologies that we didn't catch that during the play. Thanks to viewer, Tomas, for catching that error! **
