The Hardest Phasmophobia Update - v0.25.3 Patch Notes
2,283This patch is insane! You can no longer use the activity chart to find the EMF 5, which is a huge nerf to professional play. AND they made the ghosts wander more which is also a massive increase in difficulty! Overall I think this is a good change but it's going to be much harder and require some getting used to! Fixes
1. Fixed a bug where the Non-VR loading screen wasn't covering the entire screen on super ultra wide resolutions.
Changes
1. Increased the Parabolic Microphone distance from 10 to 30 meters and the width from 3 to 6 meters. This is supposed to be used to give you the general direction the ghost and not exactly where it is.
2. Reduced the size of the Parabolic Microphone model to give you a better view on Non-VR.
3. School: Lowered the volume of the phones.
4. Removed some ambient sounds from being read by the parabolic microphone and sound sensors that were not caused by the ghost.
5. Slightly increased the ghosts chance to wander on all difficulties.
6. The Activity Monitor will now show an estimated value rather than the true value. This will prevent you from discovering EMF Level 5 without using the EMF Reader.
