That solidfied the final fantasy franchise in the West, Created a fevercraze for JRPGs and established the playstation dominace while propelling The company who made it to One of the most recognized developer in the entire game industry. While many have tried to tackle why the game is so good I've decided to look at how it even came to be and if perhaps it's rising sucess wasn't all for the best.
