The HUGE Gameplay Change to Jedi Survivor You may have MISSED | Star Wars Explained
Lucasfilm is going HUGE in March with the release of The Mandalorian Season 3, The Bad Batch Season 2, Jedi Battle Scars strar wars Novel and Jedi Survivor Star Wars Video game by Respawn and EA Star Wars
The part of the trailer where we find Cere Junda might just be the most telling moment in the trailer when it comes to gameplay and tonal changes to Jedi Survivor. What is this new location where we find Cere Junda in the Jedi Survivor Gameplay reveal trailer? And what does this tell us about what we can expect from the game? I think I have a pretty solid prediction, enough that I feel the need to issue a minor spoiler warning for Jedi Survivor, so consider yourself warned.
First off, the camera angles that we see feel very familiar to me. This area seems to be treated the same as hub areas from other video games. In particular, I’m reminded of player homes in Ubisoft games like Watch Dogs and Assassins Creed. This area will almost certainly function as a main hub for Cal during the builk of the game, even moreso than the mantis in the first game.
I believe it will be here that Cal will return to get new missions and sidequests and store collectables. And yes, I think that means that Jedi Survivor will have a much more nonlinear mission style compared to Jedi Fallen Order, along with more sidequests. I predict that Cere Junda is going to function as a primary mission giver throughout the game.
