I'm back at it. The remix request list is underway again! Usually picked at random, I wanted to finish one's I'd already started but the disrepair of many software after my big hard drive meltdown last year has made that not so much a go. So this one, that's been stuck in my head a while since I was introduced to it, got bumped up to getting done first. If only to stop humming the tune. :P I think it might be a bit more metal and upbeat than I think the requester was looking for, but I'm hoping that it hits all the right notes. Pun might be intended. Future videos may have less and less visuals though. All this copyright crack down on Youtube, not to mention the brutal villainy some companies have been treating their fanbase with, makes me uneasy about using anything that can be considered copywritten. Boggles the mind the stuff that's been flagged on my channel. But as long as you guys are enjoying the music, I'm going to keep sharing. Anyway, all that said (and not spending much time talking about the song, I know), this game is far from easy. So the video captured is all from the NES and Genesis versions of the demonstration modes. Which the Genesis version was played by a monkey mashing buttons, I swear. XD So I didn't get much video from it. And yes, the song. This is revision number 3. The first one, I'd completely forgotten one of the versions of the song (the one the Genesis version uses on the title screen) and redid the unremarkable opening I had with the update and it definitely gave some life and solemness to the build up opening. But the ending was still not hitting the right feel for me so I overhauled it t be a smidge longer and much more energetic than the boring slow cool down I had before. Plus it feels like it fits instead of breaking into some random new song out of, I don't know, Legend of Zelda. Alas, sorry for yammering on, if you've read all of this, you're a brave trooper. The remix list is chock full requests and I'm not particularly fast (Youtube remixes are a leser priority these days than other things in life and music), but if you have something you'd like to see done, I'll add it!
