The Incredible Hulk (SNES) - 100% Longplay Walkthrough - Hard Difficulty - No Continues
9The Incredible Hulk is a side-scrolling platformer with beat-em up elements developed and published by Probe Entertainment and U.S. Gold respectively in 1994. This walkthrough is for the SNES version although it is worth noting that this game was also released on the Sega Mega Drive, Sega Master System and the Sega Game Gear.
The game needs to be beaten on Hard difficulty to achieve the true ending but even then, it is fairly easy. This does not apply to Level 5 though which amps up the platforming difficulty significantly.
This video walkthrough will serve as a guide for you on completing the game 100% on Hard difficulty with No Continues and Save States. In our opinion, the term “100%” is quite subjective for this game mainly due to the branching routes/options that the player can take. However, in our opinion, the overarching feature is getting the true ending on Hard difficulty with No Continues and Save States.
As a result, we have decided against collecting all the secrets that can be found throughout the game to make the walkthrough more concise and to highlight the ease with which this game can be completed.
The SNES version has 5 Levels.
We have not used any Save States while recording this walkthrough.

S T R A T E G Y A N D T I P S:
General:
Except for Level 5, the game is pretty easy to beat/complete. However, we still recommend that you keep the following in mind when playing this game:
1. Start playing the game on Hard difficulty. The difference between Normal and Hard is minimal but you get the true ending of the game on Hard;
2. Practice playing through each level just enough so you know where the Gamma Capsules, Mega Gamma Capsules and the Transformation Capsules are. Our video walkthrough will be very helpful here.
3. Use the following moves to make sure you take advantage of Super-Hulk and the Hulk-Out Modes to the fullest (subsequently making boss battles significantly easier):
Super-Hulk Moves:
a) Ceiling Smash – Close Proximity to Grab + Up + A
b) Sonic Clap – Press X + A together
c) Foot Mash – Down/Up/Down + X
Hulk-Out Moves:
a) Press R and left/right to run and smash everything in your way
Overall:
In our opinion, there's no perfect tactic to complete this game and there are multiple routes/options you can take.
As long as you beat the game on Hard and get the true ending, you can adopt the approach that suits you best.
