2Welcome to our video walkthrough series of Deus Ex - Game of the Year Edition on PC. In addition to being one of our all-time favourties, Deus Ex also objectively happens to be one of the best games ever made, so we are really excited to be covering it on our channel.
There's obviously a multitude of ways how one can approach the gameplay in Deus Ex but we have gone for a stealthy, non-lethal approach that will aim to bypass as many firefights and bloodshed as possible.

O V E R V I E W:
The year is 2052 and the world is a dangerous and chaotic place. Terrorists operate openly - killing thousands; drugs, disease and pollution kill even more. The world's economies are close to collapse and the gap between the insanely wealthy and the desperately poor grows ever wider. Worst of all, an ages old conspiracy bent on world domination has decided that the time is right to emerge from the shadows and take control.
A P P R O A C H:
⦁ Play the game on Realistic Difficulty
⦁ Adopt as stealthy an approach as possible
⦁ Adopt a non-lethal approach eschewing violence and firefights as much as possible
⦁ Explore the environments as much as possible to make the most of the game
In this part of the video walkthrough, we have:
⦁ Neutralised the terrorist threat at Liberty Island
⦁ Neutralised the hostage situation at Battery Park
⦁ Made our way to Hell's Kitchen for the first time
Due to the game being a massive undertaking, we will use quick saves and loads, where needed but still refrain from engaging in any form of save-scumming.
We also refrained from using any of the innumerable Mods available for this game in order to keep the experience as true to the original as possible.
