THE INFECTION SPREADS | Let's Plat The Quarry (Extra) - Part 8 (All Infected/Clues Playthrough)
0The majority of our campers have been infected but how will this play out and affect their fates. Will they still unravel the mystery of Hackett's Quarry and find all of the missing clues?

48:49 - Blood Pact Trophy/Achievement - In order to infect all of the playable characters you need to take into account a few things. Killing them afterwards does not matter and will not cause any problems as only an infection is required for the trophy/achievement but you should try your hardest to ensure you do not kill any characters until they are infected. Max, Nick and Laura will always become infected in the Prologue, Chapter 3 and Chapter 7 respectively. You also need to understand that being bitten and infected are different. A character can be bitten however if the infection does not spread then this can void the trophy/achievement. A good indication of whether a character is infected is if they have yellow eyes when you pause the game playing as them. There are other ways to get a character bitten or infected but this guide will do it in a single playthrough. The following is a list of the playable characters and how to get them infected:
-Dylan will become infected in Chapter 5 however you need to make sure in Chapter 1 when you play as Abi and Emma that you break into the cabin otherwise the monster will focus its attention on the locked cabin instead of Dylan. After he is bitten in Chapter 5 and insists on Ryan cutting his hand off you will need to select the TERRIFIED option to ensure he become infected later on. By Chapter 9 if Dylan is still alive he should transform after the confrontation with the monster in the Scrapyard.
-Abi can be infected shortly after Nick in Chapter 3 however you need to choose the HELP NICK option followed by a Right Analog Stick Up QTE. Now select the RUN option followed by another successful QTE. Do not climb the tree and then fail the hold breath event in order for Abi to be infected. Keep in mind that although Abi does not transform she does show werewolf tendencies based on certain events and decisions but will never turn as Kaylee infects her and she dies in the story which cannot be prevented.
-Jacob will become infected in Chapter 6 however in Chapter 3 you need to make sure after he gets caught in the trap and cut down that you choose the THROW DIRT option. Then in Chapter 6 Jacob and Emma will reunite assuming she is still alive (you should try to just incase) and he will be attacked. Fail the first QTE to be bitten however you still need to survive so choose the RUN option followed by a successful QTE and finally the PRY OPEN option. Later in Chapter 8 assuming you have made the same choices I have Jacob and Monster Nick will be in cages which will unlock. If he does not attack then Jacob has been infected. There is also a scene later on where Jacob will transform if he is still alive.
-Emma can be infected in Chapter 4 once you enter the treehouse. Choose the SEARCH BAG and USE TASER options. Take the photo and then succeed the Right Analog Stick Down QTE followed by another QTE. Select the SPRAY option followed by 2 Right Analog Stick Up QTEs. Choose the BLOCK DOOR and USE TRAPDOOR options followed by a successful Right Analog Stick Down QTE. Fail the next one so that her arm is bitten and then do a Right Analog Stick Right QTE. Fail the next one to get her leg bitten and then a successful Right Analog Stick Up to complete this section. Alternatively in Chapter 6 when you reach a scene with 2 hunters, you can run which will cause her to be bitten in the leg.
-Ryan can be infected in Chapter 9 by choosing to accept the bite from Laura. Choose the SYMPATHETIC and ACCEPT options and make sure not to pull away.
-Kaitlyn can be infected in Chapter 9 by choosing the SLAM CAR option and then failing the next QTE.
Once you have successfully infected all of the playable characters you will unlock this trophy/achievement.
55:18 - Mutually Assured Trophy/Achievement - In Chapter 9 when Laura and Ryan fall through the floor with Monster Chris do not shoot him. Let the events play out and once Travis and Laura have killed each other you will unlock this trophy/achievement.
1:02:43 - Meddling Kids Trophy/Achievement - Clues are one of the collectibles you can find which give additional information about what is going on indicated by beams of light you can interact with. The following is a guide for all of the clue locations:
