The insanity of Divinity: Original Sin 2's any% Speedrun

I decided to re-learn the Divinity: Original Sin 2 any% speedrun after some time away — and wow, it was rough at first! Most of my practice focused on the tutorial boat, which is easily the hardest part of the run. My first completed attempt took over 2 hours, but after some grinding and refining my strategy, I managed to bring that time down to under 20 minutes!
This session wasn’t about setting a new PB (my current best is 9:34), and I’m still quite a ways from the world record of 7:08 — but it was great to get back into the groove. Huge respect to the speedrunning community for keeping this game alive!

Any% has become so incredibly optimized compared to when it started, its almost unfathomable for a new person to get into running the game.
My goal right now is to complete and understand the run again fully, so that I can make a tutorial video for those who want to try.
