Hello guys, welcome back to another episode of Windows Installation tutorial & the development of Windows XP, in this episode we're going to take look at Windows XP build 2481.idx01, it was compiled on May 24th 2001 and have a 180-day timebomb. During the Windows XP Expert Zone event when discussing the Homestead and Metallic themes. Iain Mcdonald said:"I think you saw Metallic and Homestead today. They come in, they'll be in, not the next IDW which should be 2475. That'll be in 2480, maybe 81, depending on a couple of things and when a couple of things come in." Yes, they were the true existed builds, they are Windows XP build 2475 & Windows XP build 2480, build 2475 was released to the testers on the same day as this build compiled, in other words, it was leaked. Build 2480 only just mentioned. There're no difference with build 2481.main, it just used Windows XP startup sound as default.
