This is a crash course to the introduction of the Indonesian Legal System. Indonesian legal system was mainly correlated to civil law that was introduced by the Netherlands. As Indonesia declared independence in 1945, it set forth a new phase to abandon colonial remains. This endeavour turns to be a problem in the coming years. The adopted civil law system is still unchanged even though Indonesia has its own constitution.
