The Isle is an immense undertaking by a group of veteran developers that have collectively worked on three previous dinosaur games. We don't want to create 'just another survival sandbox' or 'just another dinosaur game'; we want to be 'the' dinosaur game. Though the initial core of the game will be implemented upon release, this is a platform sandbox being developed for the community that will help shape The Isle into supporting any game-type imaginable. This goes from classic team deathmatch integration to dramatic park tycoon creation, accurate dinosaur ecosystem simulations, and thrilling survival combat. We believe we can create the basis and modding content for every player's dream that was or is a dinosaur game. After all, 'creation is an act of sheer will.
