Sharing another random game from my younger days I use to play the hell out of at my local arcade. After school, my friends and I would spend all our lunch money on this coin eater of a game. But, it was so worth it, cause its just so much fun!.
The King of Dragons was developed and published by Capcom in 1991 for the Arcade. It would later see a home port release for the SNES in 1994. It is a side scrolling beat em up and can have up to 3 players simultaneously. You have the choice of five characters;Fighter, Wizard, Cleric, Elf Archer, Dwarf. (I always picked the Wizard). Over the course of the game, characters will gain extra weapons and accessories, that will increase their power, speed, stamina, life etc. In total ,there are 16 stages.
The Kingdom of Malus was a peaceful and prosperous place, until the Red Dragon Gildiss and his army of monsters invaded.Five brave warriors band together to free their homeland and defeat the evil Dragon (what does Capcom have against Dragons? XD).
Here, I play the Japanese Arcade version, as their are differences to the World version ( I prefer this versions final boss battle theme and Gildiss also drops rocks on you. Not like the world version).
