With the long weekend here, everyone has gone out of town (yay!). This means more time to myself and more game video uploads (yay!).

Alien Soldier was developed by Treasure and published by Sega. It was released in 1995 for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and is a single player only game. You play as the character Epsilon Eagle; A human/bird hybrid alien from the planet Sierra.

One of the nice features of the game is that you can do a lot of customizing at the start. From the type of fire power you want to shoot, to the kind of life bar type you want. What I would have liked was the chance to swap out fire powers at certain intervals of the game, which was sadly missing. In total, there are about 25 stages, which are very short,leaving a lot of people to also dub this game "The boss rush''game, given that your mostly battling boss enemies.

Storywise..I'm not even going to attempt to make sense of it. Our hero has amnesia, and was the leader of a group of assassins who escaped capture by hiding his consciousness into an infant child with special powers?...Yeah, lets just leave it alone.. In a nutshell, very bad people done you wrong, so you is gonna get some payback!.

Here, i play through Stages 1-12 (was gonna play through in one go, but had visitors come over, so had to stop recording).
