Maybe it's just me, but I feel like 'The King of Fighters 2001' is a noticeable step down from 'The King of Fighters 2000' in terms of overall quality (company status notwithstanding, of course). But hey, here's a 4v4 fighting game that existed way before that Marvel fighting game by Arc System Works.

So yeah, let's go through this particular fighting game (which in actuality was bundled alongside 'The King of Fighters 2000' for the North American PlayStation 2 market) with a single character (who has undoubtedly inspired countless clones in M.U.G.E.N) plus three strikers/assists (and an "Infinite Health" cheat code because let's face it, nobody wants to lose to any SNK boss, let alone the ones who are featured here, and we all know how bonkers SNK bosses can be even on the lowest difficulty). Okay, let's see how many points I can manage to acquire this way...
