Now I show off the rest of the characters I use: Maxima and Elisabeth. You'll see some others later...but right now, I really think I should just stick with the 7 already seen: Kensou, Mature, Benimaru, K', Robert, Maxima, and Elisabeth. It's easier to manage, and I think there's enough variety there to please people. Learning multiple characters at one time is a bit overwhelming, so I would like to focus on these guys to avoid not knowing what I'm doing. Joe and Vice will come later...and possibly Hwa Jai too.

Kim, Yuri, Benimaru
Maxima, Benimaru, Kensou

Maxima is one of the few "big guys" that I've ever liked. KOF has a few likable big guys though. I mean, I like Clark and Ralf too even though I don't know how to use them. Maxima is actually pretty simple to use. He doesn't have a lot of special moves, but they hit hard. He isn't big on combos, but he still takes away a lot of damage. I wouldn't say he's beginner-friendly, but I picked him up as soon as I had to use him in this game's Story Mode. I've used him before in Maximum Impact, but that's way different from this. As for the rest of this fight, that Yuri was...tough. I was relieved she wasn't saved as the "ace" of the team. His Benimaru sure was desperate to pull out that Neo Max at the end. I've been there though, so I can't rag on him.

Elisabeth, Maxima, Mature
Iori, Kyo, Ryo

Here, I face a very standard trio. This guy's ranking was low, so I figured I'd be safe to practice with Elisabeth AND Maxima at the same time here. By the way, I'm on the right this time. My opponent was very random, and I could tell that he was simply by how easy it was to take Iori out versus how hard it was to fight Kyo with Elisabeth and then how Maxima (who is slower) could keep up with him. Still, he hit me with so much random stuff that I started to panic with Mature. When you panic in a fighting game, you don't do well no matter who you face, so I eventually just had to tell myself to slow down. After that, the final blow was dealt.

Elisabeth, Benimaru, Kensou
Kyo, K', Shen

Elisabeth is tough for me to use. She is supposed to be like a counter character, but in training, I never remember to turn my opponent into a CPU character. Furthermore, when I do, they always predict when I want to use Elisabeth's counter moves. All I want to do is see how they work, but instead I'm stuck taking her offensive moves into battle, and I don't know exactly when to use them either. She's super easy to combo into a Super with though. It's also easy to go into her Neo Max after the Super too. After a bit more practice with her, she could easily take the 2nd fighter position since that's usually where all of the meter build-up goes. Benimaru didn't put it to much good use unfortunately. I hate when he fails...er...I fail him.
