SNK revealed today that Whip will be the first DLC character for The King of Fighters XIV. She will be added to the game on April 5 for $5.99.

Whip first appeared in The King of Fighters ’99. The developers described her as “an extremely dangerous fighter whose skill in the whipping arts is second to none”. SNK recently teased that three new characters would be coming to the game, and promised to reveal the other characters in the coming weeks.

DualShockers gave The King of Fighters XIV a 9.5 in our review, stating that the game is “one the best fighting games in recent memory”. The developers released a new gameplay trailer featuring Whip, which you can watch below. The King of Fighters XIV is currently available exclusively on PS4.
