The Knocking | Behind The Door Film Contest Entry
17"The Knocking" is my first attempt at making a horror film with 0 budget aside from the DSLR camera I already own. Lacie held a 1-minute film contest in October - November 2019 where filmmakers had to tell a story revealing "something behind the door." I had a lot of fun making and got inspiration from several films such as Evil Dead and Friday the 13th. One of the coolest things I enjoyed about making this film and a fun fact about is that although it may not look it, I was every single character in the film. To capture the silhouette, the 2nd pair of feet, and the hand holding the knife, I used a combination of green screening and rotoscoping to achieve the illusion of a second person in the film. Thank you Lacie tech for hosting this awesome competition and getting creators active. I'll definitely be entering the next contest.
