Info on the game:
Borderlands 3 is an action role-playing first person shooter (though I would say "Shootemup" seeing as you can have 1000+ ammo of one kind so aiming isn't realy a priority) developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games.
The game is a sequel to Borderlands 2 (& Tales From The Borderlands)(not to "Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel" seeing as those events took place between Borderlands 1 & 2; even though the story was being told by Athena to Lilith while Sanctuary was already flying, so technicaly part of the pre-sequel did take place after Borderlands 2's events...but I digress).
Borderlands 3 takes place seven years after Handsome Jack's death in Borderlands 2 and the downfall of the Hyperion Corporation in Tales from the Borderlands. In Borderlands 2, it was discovered that numerous other Vaults exist on other planets in the galaxy. In the power vacuum left by the defeat of Jack and Hyperion, twin siblings Troy and Tyreen Calypso form the Children of the Vault (COV), a violent cult of personality formed from the remnants of the planet's many bandit factions, to gain possession of the other Vaults, specifically one called 'the Great Vault'. Lilith, one of the playable Vault Hunters from the first game and current leader of the Crimson Raiders, a resistance force created to protect Pandora, recruits new Vault Hunters to help stop the Calypsos.
We play as one of the 4 new characters which become vault hunters. I had no idea who I was going to play as, except for the fact that I wasn't going to play as a Siren because I knew that Sirens were going to be a big part of the story (I saw some trailers) & I didn't want me choosing a Siren as a loophole (I'll play as the Siren in my spare time to see if there are any major differences, but I doubt there will be any aside from a different piece of dialog when my character has to answer something while the other character will still say the same things). I chose to play as Zane because I heard from a friend that FL4K was overpowered as hell and I didn't want to make it that easy (and I prety much flipped a coin to decide between Zane & Moze).
