The Lair of Goblin John Madden - Demeo
18I'm joined by Jkymark (Mark) and Tab as we explore the deep dark dungeons of Demeo's first adventure module, The Black Sarcophagus, or as we like to refer to it as, the Lair of Goblin John Madden.
Our goal is to defeat the corrupted (and I believe undead) Elf Queen (a.k.a. John Madden Prime) awaiting us on the third floor of the dungeon.
Demeo is a fun, VR, Dungeons and Dragons-like game where you explore, fight and loot in hopes of being able to reach the bottom of the dungeon where you'll face off against the big bad. The game can be played multiplayer with up to four friends (or online with strangers), or solo where you control three heroes. The game is a mix of turn-based strategy, cooperation, dice-rolling and card playing.
So far Resolution Games has released only one adventure for the game but they already stated another adventure titled: "Realm of the Rat King" is coming out this summer (probably in the next month or so if I had to guess).
I've played through the first dungeon several times now and I've really enjoyed myself, I highly recommend this if you like games with a heavy focus on co-op, dice-rolling mechanics, strategic character placement and card-play. I can firmly say that I'll be streaming more of this in the future for you all.
