The next episode is reported to be titled Infected and is expected to follow the next chapter of the game’s storyline which sees the trio navigate the ruins of Boston in order to deliver Ellie to the Fireflies after the significance of her immunity becomes more apparent.
After only catching a brief glimpse of the zombie-like infected in the opening chapter, episode 2 promises a much closer encounter with the deadly Clicker variant as Joel, Tess and Ellie make their way through what remains of the dilapidated city with potentially devastating consequences lying in wait.
