What is love? A word that implies a powerful connection between two or more people.

It pushes us to become better, changes us and comforts us like a personal sun.

And when stripped from us, it gives birth to a beast that will swallow the world.

Hatred. An emotion that is born from love. The beast we direct to those who have harmed or can harm that which we care for.

We do anything for love but does it justify any action in its name?
Does it justify lying? Aggression?…Murder?

Is love bad? Is it selfish?
That we somehow use it as some badge or permission to do what we want?

So tell me why would you do it? Why chase revenge? Because you are blinded by it as you were with love? Because it can make the pain go away? Because you will balance the scales?

Or is it because the thought of not doing it, is somehow worse than doing it?

Kill a man only to learn that it you are still filled with pain and now you got nothing to point it at.
But would that man, if he were here, demand you to give your life to hate? Would he demand you to waste your life in his name?

Maybe I don’t know what Im talking about but I do know this: the love you shared is powerful enough to make you a better person even if he is gone and for the both of you ladies to move, you need to let them go. To leave that shadow…and live again.
