So Tommy, Joel's brother went to get his revenge from the people who killed his brother, but he forgot something, or rather, someone, Ellie. She is bloodthirsty for revenge so she goes to Seattle with Dina to also find the people who killed Joel and let me tell you she finds something pretty interesting...

I plan to collect as many trophies, all guns, weapon upgrades, player upgrades, artifacts, journal entries, trading cards, training manuals, coins as I can! According to TLOU 2 PS4 trophies, there’s a strange artifact and an engraved ring in the game (apparently there’s also a safe combination?), so I’m interested in finding all infected zombies, all Easter eggs as well as all workbench locations. I will also show all tlou2 cutscenes in my playthrough. There's going to be a The Last of Us 2 multiplayer in the future from what I've read. Not sure if this game has alternate endings but I’d like to get all endings in The Last of Us Part II. I also want to unlock every safe in Seattle (where the game is set). The Last of Us Part 2 is currently only available on PS4 (not PSVR), not PC (although there are rumors….). TLOU2 is not available on Nintendo Switch or Xbox One either. No TLOU 2 spoilers or leaks please! Once we reach The Last of Us 2 ending I’ll give my review of the game.

Last of Us 2 Gameplay:
The Last of Us Part II is an action-adventure survival horror game played from the third-person perspective. Players can use firearms, bows, improvised weapons, and stealth to defend against hostile humans and cannibalistic creatures infected by a mutated strain of the Cordyceps fungus. The gameplay mechanics in Part II have also expanded upon its predecessor, The Last of Us. In it the player character can traverse the environment more openly by being able to reach higher vantage points by jumping and climbing while playing as the more nimble Ellie. Players can also crawl in a prone position to evade enemies. Throughout the game, players will have a non-player character assisting them. Large portions of the game are set in Seattle, Washington.

The game also sees the return of "Listen Mode" allowing players to locate enemies through a heightened sense of hearing and spatial awareness, indicated as outlines visible through walls and objects. Additionally, players can collect supplements to upgrade skills in a skill tree. The three main branches of the tree are Survival, Crafting, and Stealth. Survival upgrades improve health, Listen Mode's range, and throw distance. Crafting upgrades allow for melee upgrades, increase to Ellie's crafting speed, and the ability to craft smoke and stun bombs. Stealth upgrades improve prone movement speed, faster stealth kills, and unlock pistol silencers. Part II also introduces guard dogs that can track the player's scent.

The Last of Us 2 Development:
Development of The Last of Us Part II began in 2014, soon after the release of The Last of Us Remastered. Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson reprise their roles as Joel and Ellie, respectively. Neil Druckmann reprises his positions as creative director and writer from The Last of Us however this time the story is also co-written by Halley Gross. Bruce Straley, game director on the original game, left Naughty Dog in 2017. Anthony Newman and Kurt Margenau were selected to be game directors for Part II; Newman was previously the melee combat designer for The Last of Us, and Margenau was game director on Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Gustavo Santaolalla returns to compose and perform the score. Plans for multiplayer were cancelled because resources were shifted to improving the scale of the game. Naughty Dog stated that The Last of Us Part II was the longest game they had made. The game also sees the return of Tommy portayed by Jeffrey Pierce. Neil Druckmann and Gustavo Santaolalla reprise their roles as creative director and composer respectively.
