The Last of Us Part I PC Features | Ultra-Wide Support, Left Behind, and More
The Last of Us Part I is a critically acclaimed and emotionally powerful game that debuted on the PlayStation 5 console in 2022. And now, on March 28, it is making its way to PC for the first time via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Naughty Dog, the game's developer, has worked hard to optimize the game for PC with several features that are tailored specifically to the platform.
The PC version of The Last of Us Part I is optimized with PC-centric quality-of-life enhancements, including AMD FSR 2.2 support, Nvidia DLSS Super Resolution support, VSync, and frame rate cap options. It also has adjustable Texture Quality, Shadows, Reflections, Ambient Occlusion, and other features designed specifically for PC. With true 4K resolution support, players can fully immerse themselves in the game's beautiful yet haunting environments with ultra-wide monitor support for both 21:9 Ultrawide and 32:9 Super Ultrawide aspect ratios. Additionally, 3D audio support allows players to better hear the rustle of leaves, the crack of glass, or the footfalls of enemies trying to ambush them.
The Last of Us Part I on PC also features DualSense support through a wired connection, allowing players to feel the impact of battle, the rumble of a tank rolling by, and more through haptic feedback and dynamic triggers. With support for the DualShock 4 controller, a wide range of other gamepads, and keyboard and mouse, players can adjust their playstyle to suit their preferences. And with a number of new control customization options, including full control remapping, primary and secondary bindings for keyboard and mouse control, and an adaptive mode that allows players to combine keyboard and controller inputs, players can truly make the game their own.
Naughty Dog has also listened to player feedback and included a number of bug fixes and improvements throughout the game, making sure that players have a smooth experience. The Last of Us Part I on PC includes the same core gameplay experience as the PS5 version, including its award-winning campaign, the Left Behind DLC chapter, additional modes like Speedrun Mode, Permadeath Mode, and Photo Mode, and the suite of accessibility features that players have come to expect from the franchise.
Players can still pre-purchase The Last of Us Part I on PC, with the Firefly Edition available in limited quantities through direct.playstation.com in select regions. The standard and digital deluxe editions are also available for pre-purchase on Steam and the Epic Games Store. With the incredible support from new and returning fans alike, Naughty Dog is excited to welcome more players to Joel and Ellie's unforgettable journey on March 28.
