The Last of Us Season 2: What We Know So Far
Ever since the Season 1 finale of HBO’s hit series, The Last of Us, fans have been not-so-patiently awaiting Season 2. With a season that requires nearly a year of filming and strikes occurring for both the WGA and SAG-AFTRA, though, it feels as if Season 2 keeps getting pushed further and further away. While there’s still no set release date for the series’ second season, there’s been plenty of speculation about what Season 2 will entail. Season 1 was based on the video game of the same name. Now, many fans are guessing that season 2 will be based on the second installment of the video game, The Last of Us Part II. Folks who’ve played the game know that this installment is much darker than the one that preceded it, and there are also plenty of controversial plotlines and characters who may or may not be forthcoming. The creators have remained tight-lipped about what’s in store for Season 2, but one thing is for certain: they don’t plan on this season being the last. While there’s still plenty to speculate about when it comes to the upcoming season, there are a few things we know about what to expect from The Last of Us Season 2. And, these details have got us even more excited than we already were.
