Astro-Egyptianism is a thing, right? I feel like it is.

The Last Oricru is an interesting blend of genres, including Souls-lite (I guess?) and it boasts the very weight sentiment of "there is no wrong choice." As an immortal character, I suppose the game wants to have fun with choices that may or may not kill me - running off the assumption that my social standing with each faction simply changes how they interact with me.

Not exactly groundbreaking.

I admit that I'm intrigued what The Last Oricru does, if only because it feels totally wacky and campy right from the get-go. It's like Roger Corman got involved with the narrative and no one in the room thought to say, "Roger, that's not a very good idea." So we'll have a "Ratvolution" - an actual quote from the game - while the main protagonist, who sounds like a snake oil salesman ready to peddle to the unsuspecting masses, hides a lightning rod from the whitey queen.

The things that have happened in an hour. This will be marvelous.
