世界中で謎の感染病が流行し、生存者は5％程度になった世界。
プレイヤーは志願者となって物資を集めながら、新しい感染源を探っていくというストーリーです。
志願者は余命3～4日ぐらいしかなく、最終的には死んでしまいますが、獲得した能力を次の志願者に引き継いで探索を続けていくという流れです。
ワクチンで症状の進行を遅くすることは出来ますが、ワクチンを見つけることが難しいです。
移動には車の燃料が必要になるのでガソリンの確保も重要になります。
次の志願者に交代するとマップも別なものになるので、同じマップを何度もやるというわけではないようです。
個人的に好きなジャンルのゲームです。
