The Late Night Screen - "DuckTales" - Mini Overview
Taking a small break from Limbo again, but this time to try out the remastered Capcom game DuckTales that was taken off of Steam some months back, in August 2019, but was relisted in March 2020.
The voice overs are spot on, because surviving members of the original animated series cast, such as Alan Young reprising his role as Scrooge McDuck and June Foray as Magica De Spell, were brought onboard to make this something special. In the original NES version, there is no VO present, so for me, this was a welcome upgrade to the experience.
I found myself easily settling back into the gameplay, because, well, it's essentially, if not exactly the same as it was before. Perhaps a bit looser, but still on point for control.
I apologize for two things, once again, there was a grounding issue with audio, so there is a bit of a mic buzz, but I hopefully reduced that out as best I could. Secondly, I found myself walking back down memory lane more than I thought I would as I recalled reading old Whitman and Gold Key comics of Uncle Scrooge's adventures when I was a wee lad, and I also really got into the art direction they had accomplished on this new update.
