I've been doing some spot illustrations for Brass Engine, and so since I am doing these digitally, I thought I'd record and showcase how I would work out and create the one for Shelob. These start off as raster drawings in Photoshop, and then end as vector illustrations so that he's able to utilize them in production using a Glowforge.

The video is a glimpse into the often erratic thought process of what I go through in the majority of my smaller illustrations. From the initial concept to the final simplified file style, I spend just a bit over an hour on this work.
